Course Content

Beginner Level (A1-A2)

  • Alphabet (28 letters): Isolated, initial, medial, and final forms
  • Vowels & Diacritics: Fatḥa (ـَ), Kasra (ـِ), Ḍamma (ـُ), Sukūn (ـْ)
  • Essential Phrases:
  • مَرْحَبًا (Hello), شُكْرًا (Thank you), كَيْفَ حَالُكَ؟ (How are you?)
  • Introducing yourself: اِسْمِي… (My name is…), أَنَا مِن… (I am from…)
  • Everyday Words: Numbers (1-100), days, family, colors, food
  • Grammar Foundations:
  • Gender (masculine/feminine words)
  • Definite/indinite (الـ vs. no الـ)
  • Present tense (يَفْعَلُ), basic verb conjugation
  • Simple sentence structure (Subject-Verb-Object)
  • Greetings and short dialogues
  • Practicing vowel sounds and word stress
  • Recognizing letter connections
  • Writing simple words and sentences

Intermediate Level (B1-B2)

  • Past & Future Tenses:
  • Past (فَعَلَ) and future (سَوْفَ يَفْعَلُ)
  • Cases (I‘rāb): Nominative (ـُ), accusative (ـَ), genitive (ـِ)
  • Common Verbs & Patterns: Form I-X verb forms introduction
  • Pronouns: Attached (ـكَ, ـهَا) and detached (أَنْتَ, هِيَ)
  • Discussing daily routines, hobbies, travel
  • Describing past experiences
  • Short stories and news articles
  • Writing paragraphs (e.g., about your city)
  • Arabic songs, simple podcasts
  • Watching children’s shows with subtitles

Advanced Level (C1-C2)

  • Classical Arabic Touches:
  • إِنَّ وَأَخَوَاتُهَا (Inna and its sisters)
  • كانَ وَأَخَوَاتُهَا (Kana and its sisters)
  • Media Arabic: News vocabulary and analysis
  • Idioms & Proverbs:
  • “ضَرَبَ عُصْفُورَيْنِ بِحَجَرٍ” (Killed two birds with one stone)
  • Poetry (Classical & Modern)
  • Dialects: Comparing MSA with Egyptian/Levantine
  • Debates on Arab culture, history, and politics
  • Business terms (إجتماع، عقد، مفاوضات)
  • Formal email writing
  • Dialect Module (Choose Egyptian/Levantine/Gulf)
  • Quranic Arabic (Optional for religious studies)
