What you'll learn

  • Recognize and write Hiragana and Katakana (Japanese scripts)
  • Pronounce Japanese words with correct intonation

Course Content

Beginner Level (N5-N4)

  • Hiragana & Katakana:
    Complete charts + dakuten (゛) & handakuten (゜)
    Pronunciation rules (e.g., しゃ/sha, つ/tsu)
    Basic Kanji (N5):
    100+ essential characters (日、月、人、水) with stroke order
    Greetings & Essentials:
    こんにちは (Hello), ありがとう (Thank you), お名前は？ (Your name?)
  • Core Vocabulary (800+ words):
  • Numbers, time, family, food, daily objects
  • Grammar Foundations:
  • Sentence structure (SOV: 私は本を読みます)
  • Present tense (~ます form)
  • Particles (は、が、を、に、で)
  • Negative forms (~ません)
  • Simple questions (何ですか？)
  • Basic self-introduction (自己紹介)
  • Role-playing (shopping, asking directions)
  • Short dialogues (with furigana)
  • Writing simple sentences in hiragana/katakana

Intermediate Level (B1-B2)

  • Past Tense (~ました/~でした)
  • Te-form:
  • Requests (~てください)
  • Sequencing (~てから)
  • Potential Form (~られる)
  • Comparisons (~より~の方が)
  • 300+ Kanji (N3):
  • Common compounds (電車、勉強、旅行)
  • Expressing opinions (~と思う)
